Hello my candied strawberries!!!!

Wow, I can’t believe my last blog post was 10 months ago! How insane is that?? Talk about life taking over!! How have you all been?

Ugh, I’ve been really busy and if you have followed me all these years, you know I rarely slow down and I end up doing a zillion projects and just end up going MIA. Again, I apologize but I have good reasons!!! LOL.

So if you all follow me on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook etc., you know that I have been acting and doing a lot of extra work on the television show Grimm. It’s been so amazing and I am doing all of this while working a regular job and trying to keep up with my fashion and beauty endeavors as well. It’s been hard work!

So many interesting things have happened to me and I just can’t wait to continue to share everything with you all.

So, I have a Tumblr as well and that pretty much also syncs with my Instagram at times and it’s all about my acting and daily life stuffs. Please follow so we can stay in touch! The name of my Tumblr is Love – Kai Wiley. I’ve met so many of you through my blog and mutual passion for beautiful things and I just love getting to know you and sharing experiences.

M.I.A Again?? My bad!

Well Hello my beautiful and lovely people!!

Surprise! I am back lol. AGAIN AGAIN!!!! Listen, I swear to you guys, I think my life is on track + normal + boom, I get hit with some other weird or crazy thing that happens and I end up not having time to do anything or something gets hacked!!!!.

Omg, I’m so happy to be back! I love blogging and I’ve missed sharing with everyone!! How have you guys and gals been? I’ve been pretty much great but as with any life on earth, there have been ups and downs. One major up has been the new car the bf and I got! Omg, *squeeeee* it’s been a while so having transportation again is so so amazing! 🚘

We have been enjoying the freedom of transportation and going out and doing more things. We’ve seriously gotten into Archery and it is now my obesession/hobby. We’ve been consistent and really really loving it and kicking major bootay!!

Also, I met more of my bfs family and we had a wonderful time together. They make me miss my family (mum, dad, brother, and doggie Bear) so so much more. Made my heart a little bit bigger! 💜 💜 💜

Even though things have been a bit crazy and work literally took over my life (didn’t get to really celebrate Valentine’s Day 😐) we still managed time to relax with friends and take in the beauty of our planet.

I think I’m over Youtube but I’mmmm baaaack to blogging!!!!!

Hello all!!!

Sorry for being away forever…AGAIN! Lol. I started a new job and I needed to adjust and get use to my new schedule. Now that things are some what normal again, I will start creating more post!! It has been very interesting getting back to work because this field (insurance) is new to me and I have to learn so much. I’m not sure if I love this field but I’m doing what I gotta do!!

So, in regards to Youtube, I am not sure if I will be making videos any more and if I do, they will be very limited. I don’t feel like Youtube is that fun community that it use to be ack when I fjirst started. It seems to be all about popularity and making a buck instead of being a community of like minded people having fun and getting to know people (like what I signed up for). Who knows, we will see what happens I guess.

While I was away on my hiatus, I received another VoxBox from Influenster. This was the J’Adore VoxBox. I received some pretty cool things in this one and still have a ton of the candy left (I don’t each much chocolate). See what I received below!

I must say, I love the Frizz Ease treatment especially since I got my hair cut and need to use my flat iron more often than before. I liked it so much I bought more. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! EOTD #2 – #3 + My Foolishness

Hello everyone!!!!!

So sorry for the short hiatus, I started a new job + wanted to get adjusted + wanted to get use to my schedule + sleep patterns + all that jazz lol. Anyhoo…How have you lovlies been?? I’ve been pretty good, also working on doing a Doctor Who inspired makeup series soon! If you don’t know, I am absolutely obsessed w/ Doctor Who + have been a fan since I was 5. More info on my obsession later…

EOTD #2

So this is an EOTD (eye of the day) that I did back on 02.18.14. I thought it was a fun look that was inspired by a photo I saw on a beauty page I follow. In the photo the person used red eye shadow so I used it in a way that worked for me as well. I wore this look to work because it was simple but daring much like my personality hehehe.

MY FOOLISHNESS…

So, I started a new job which has been interesting. Things did not start off smoothly so I had a bit of an annoyance twitch for several days but hopefully that is behind me…hopefully lol. The new company is great though based on what I know of it so far + I am looking forward to learning more and excelling like I am made to do! I have met some pretty cool people so far + we seem to get on well + have a laugh here + there which is great! Helps the day go by faster!!

In my training class we set up a potluck which was really awesome because everyone loves a good spread of delicious foods! I made a vegetarian lasagna which was NOT vegan friendly because it was loaded with cheese chese, faux meat (100% vegetarian Morning Star Crumbles), veggies + MO CHEESE lol. Everyone seemed to enjoy it very much which was nice to see. 🙂  

There was lots of singing in my class too lol. My co worker + I like to keep the people entertained + have been nicknames Sonny +  Cher lololol.

EOTD #3

Okies, so my bf surprised  me with a  bday party recently (02.22.14) which was really cool because it was Doctor Who themed and everyone had on bow ties because ya know…bow ties are cool! Lol. Below is the look I wore thinking I was just going to dinner lol. If I had known, I would have had an awesome DW themed look lol.

Update!!

((POST I ADDED TO MY COMPANY BLOG: CHIC N BLACK STYLING))

Hello everyone!


So, I (Kai) and the Chic n’ Black crew have been away for a loooong time! Life, moving, projects and work have consumed our time so things have fallen a wee bit behind. WE ARE SOOOOO SORRY 😦


I am working really hard to sort out my schedule so that I can get back on track with updating the Chic n’ Black Styling website and creating really fun videos for the CNBS Youtube channel and also to keep up with the CNBS facebook fanpage. Please hang on because I have a lot of fun things I want to do and share with you all.


::CHANGE::
One of the biggest changes for us was the move one of my best friends/assistant (hehehe) and I made. WE MOVED TO PORTLAND, OR!
I am trying to get the company up and moving here as well as continue to keep things moving in Cincinnati, Ohio as well. It’s now only two of us offically and we still have a great group of volunteers helping us to make things happen!! We are blessed for sure!


::PROJECTS::
On 06/16/2012 CNBS was part of the Urban Glam by Jamie Fashion Show. We were one of the many sponsors to help put the show together. WE started working on this project in February and once we moved to Portland in May, continued to work on the project via emails, video chat, and phone. Congrats to Jamie!!
