Hello again beautiful people!! So yesterday I went shopping with a friend of mine + we decided to stop by Ulta. I haven’t been to Ulta in months so I was extra excited to stop by + see what they had. I was on the search for a really fluffy powder brush but I couldn’t find what I was looking for however, what I did find was the NYX Macaron Lippies!!
I am dark skinned so I am iffy about wearing colors that are too bright so I decided at this time I will only buy two + once I hunt down some complimentary lip pencils, then I will buy other colors. The two I bought were Violet + Chambord. Here are the swatches for the two lippies…
I really like the colors in the collection + I will buy more. They are $5.99 at Ulta + the texture is very creamy + smooth. The product kind of gets splotchy if you keep applying but I think wearing a lip primer before applying these will take care of that problem. Below I have included photos of me wearing both shades.
Have you guys tried out the lippies? If so, what do you think? Leave me a comment + tell me what was your experience!!
Until Next Time…
After I hopped out the shower I decided it would be a good time to do an everday makeup routine video. Part of the video freezes near the end and to this very moment, I do not know why!!!! *Shakes fist in air*!!
This is the normal routine I do if I am running out or if I am going to work but don’t feel like looking so fab. Maybe in the near future I will do a video of my “night out”, “date night” look. Would you guys want to see that? Maybe I will do a skin care routine video as well…hmmmmmm….OPTIONS PEOPLE!! Lol
I hope you like the vid and let me know what you think.
Until next time,

Excuse my dirty brushes, but I just had to share how much I am really liking this little collection right now. I bought the first four (from left to right) on Ebay for less than $5 as a set, the 5th is the Real Techniques Expert Facial Brush from Ulta and the last one is the Bionoic Flat Top Buffer brush from Coastal Scents. I adore these little lovlies.
I have been wanting to purchase the Sigma brushes but I can’t seem to bring myself to spend that much on them at this time…priorities ya know!? When I saw the set on ebay I said why not?? It’s less than $5 and if they end up craptastic, I didn’t break the bank.
All of these brushes are awesome! I washed them all first and didn’t get any fall out hairs and they remained very soft, even the ebay set! Super surprised about that!! If you are interested in a lower cost set of brushes, I recommend purchasing from each of these companies!
Oh, and an extra FYI, you can purchase the full set of ebay brushes for about $16 and I think I will do that in the near future to try them out.
Until next time,
