Closet Confidential Tag!
Hey guys!!
Hope you all are having a great, fabulous, and fashionable day! Speaking of fashion, I was watching YouTube and I watched a few people do the “Closet Confidential Tag”. Since I’m currently on hiatus from YouTube (trying to decide to end it completely or start a new channel), I decided to do this tag in blog form! I hope you enjoy and lets get right to it!!
Question 1: What is the oldest item in your closet?
Yeah, I’ve had this shirt for a while (since Burning Crusade came) but I do have older items but they are in the closet back at my parents home. 😦
Question 2: What is the newest item?
I bought these jeans from moddeals.com. I actually bought these 2 times smaller so I could have some weight loss inspiration! Oh, they were onlu $10 a pair!!
Question 3: What is the most expensive item?
Currently the most expensive item in my closet (which is a bit odd lol) are these Oscar De La Renta sunglasses. I bought this pair and another pair back when I lived in Cincinnati. I have no idea where the second pair has gone and I looooved those. 😦 Sad Panda.
Question 4: What is the cheapest/most affordable item?
I got this sweater from Torrid like a year ago for $1…yes, I said $1!! Best deal ever because it looks great on especially with a nice cami and tights!
Question 5: What was the biggest bargain?
I know this isn’t a super cheap item but I thought it was a major bargain especially since I have been looking for a faux leather/leather jacket for ages! I found this baby on the Torrid website for $98 and I can pair it with almost everything. I will get so much wear out of this!
Question 6: What was the biggest waste of money?
This was the dumbest purchase of my existence!! I bought this after “winning” an auction. This was not even the item I bid for! They sent me a whack knock off that looks absolutely terrible. That’s what I get I guess. I want to get rid of this thing actually! SMH….SMH

I know the shirt in the middle may be hard to see but it’s a beautiful long and flowy white blouse I got from Torrid. It’s completely sheer and has lace detailing around the shoulders. I love this top however, I have a hard time keeping white clean because I always get soy sauce or make up on it lol. The first item is a dress I got from Torrid for like $10 or so and I have yet to wear it. Trying to find a good strapless bra first. The shoes are so dope!! I love these shoes. They are wedge sneakers with silver studs… AWESOME SAUCE!!

Purple Lipstick Craze
Hello beauties!!
I actually just recently (within the lats couple of years) have gotten into really loving lipsticks. Most of the time I was strictly a gloss/balm kind of girl and was content with that. I always thought my lips were too big to wear lipstick but I soon found out that was a lie and I embrace these kissers!
I always loved purple but didn’t know just how pretty a purple lipstick could look on! I still have yet to fine the perfect nude lippie but that’s a whole different story. I wanted to share with you guys my fave purple lipsticks and I want you to share your faves with me as well…I might need a shade you have! 😉

Medusa – Glossy, almost like a MAC Amplified lipstick
Violet – A creamy satin matte
Pure Heroine – A MAC Amplified finish
Landinski – Matte Finish
Kooky- Matte Finish w/ a somewhat creamy texture (very long lasting)
**Medusa and Pure Heroine look very similar in photos!! Also, Landinski looks like a dupe for Pure Heroine in a Matte**
I know these all look similar but they look a bit different when worn. Also, the above shades work great with my skin tone so they are my go to’s at the moment! What do you guys think? Leave a comment and tell me what your favorite purple shades are!!

My April + May Faves 2014
Hello there great people of the world! Hope everyone is feeling awesome!! Today feesl really nice out but instead of going out, I decided to do a blog post about my monthly faves. I do plan to go out later though ^_^. I really haven’t done a favorites…anything in a while, not on my blog or on youtube, so I felt it was about that time + this time I will try to stick with it as much as possible. Okay, enough of my rambling + lets get to it sugars!!
MAKEUP
From left to right: Shades are Redwood, Guava, + Mauve. Bought these for $1 each at ShopMissA.com. These are really pigmented + look great on light + darker skin tones. Love’em!!
I first heard about this product on YouTube + have been hooked since I found it in a beauty supply store while in Georgia while on a business trip. I also found it in my local beauty supply store + continue to use it. It works so well + could be compared to the Urban Decay Primer Potion. My eye shadow last ALL day + I just love it! It’s about $4. The only thing I wish was different is the packaging. If it was in a squeeze tube, I would be in heaven for sure!
I love this Mascara so much! This is my 2nd tube + I will continue to use it when I want a less expensive yet super effective mascara. This mascara helps your lashes to grow + give you that false lash look. Such a great product! I think this was like $8.99 at my local Walgreens.
SKIN/BODY CARE
I have been on a Rimmel kick lately so of course I wanted to try out their eye makeup remover. I must say, I really like this! I can get a great deal of makeup off with one swipe + that make things so much easier, especially when you just want to hurry + go to bed! This was about $6 at Walgreens.
This product is a repurchase for me + I still love it. I use this along with the Rimmel eye makeup remover to remove everything before washing. This is $7 at Pretty + Cute!
I actually have had this in my cabinet for a bit now + just started using this combo + it’s a good one!! This combo helps so much with keeping my oily/combination skin in check which is great because I find myself having to blot a lot less!! I received this as a gift from Olay but I know for certain this can be found at drugstores!
I love this little set. It has everything you need for proper grooming however, I don’t find the foil head attachment very useful at all. It doesn’t seem to make any difference to me. Maybe I’m just doing it all wrong lol, This was $19.99 at Walgreens + comes with a brush head which helps aid in keeping ingrown hairs at bay.
FRAGRANCE
I received this in a birthday package a friend sent me + fell in love with it! This is my “Grown + Sexy” night out fragrance + I plan on buying the full size as soon as I can. I have no idea why I didn’t try this scent out sooner but better late than never I say! You can find the fragrance at Sephora.
FASHION
I love love love this faux leather jacket from Torrid. I had been looking for one forever + I finally found this and had to have it. I got it from the website for $98.50. This jacket looks so good with so many looks. I may need to do a lookbook styling this baby!!
This watch is so cool. I really like over sized watches + think they are so chic with jeans, a graphic tee + blazers or with a nice billowy blouse. This one is really loose on my wrist so I have to push it up a bit but I don’t mind that at all. I got it from ModDeals + I think you should check out all the cool watches they have for really inexpensive cost!!
I am really loving black + white wardrobe pieces. Anyone who knows me knows I love wearing all black everything but I have recently really have gotten into wearing a lot of white as well. The jeans are from Torrid + they are the skinny fit for $58.50 + this kick ass Dalek shirt (I am an obsessed Doctor Who fan since childhood) is from 6dollarshirts for $8.00 ( larger sizes cost a bit more).

Wet n’ Wild Vanity Palette, Sephora blotting sheets, Yes to Cucumber makeup wipes, makeup brushes, Lady Gaga Fame perfume, Cinnamon bun hand sanitizer (Bath +Body Works), Ms Chick Blush, NYX Lip Gloss, Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid liner, FabuLiner, Em Mascara, MUA Kooky Lip Lacquer, Rock + Republic press powder in Velvet.
I love this press powder! It’s so fine + silky. Too bad I’ve hit pan because I don’t know if I will ever find this product again. I am pretty sure the cosmetic line has been discontinued for the brand. Mega sad face!! 😦
I like this perfume + sanitizer. They smell so yummy! Nom nom nom. The Fame perfume is not the normal scent I wear on a regular basis but it’s my in bag go to at the moment.
I love this palette! It’s the easiest go to palette and has every color I need for a quick neutral look. If I am running late or just want more sleep, I will do my makeup on the train or in a car…just depends where I’m going + this palette becomes my best friend!! I also can create a pretty simple smokey eye too!

My January Favorites 2014!!
Tips + Tricks #1 – Goodbye Ingrown Hairs, Hello Sexy Legs!!!!
Ingrown hairs are basically the Devil in disguise! I’m telling you, they hurt + are just so darn nasty!! I am blessed to be a natural curly haired girl + for as long as I can remember, I have had issues with ingrown hairs after shaving. Some people may say, “Just wax” or “Use a chemical hair remover”! I absolutely appreciate the suggestions but those options just DO NOT work for me. My skin is always left behind so irritated + for the bikini area….well….it’s not pretty! LOL
If you haven’t read my blog post about the Bliss Ingrown Hair Pads, you probably don’t know that those things about killed me! Hahaha, my skin was much too sensitive for them so I have been on a hunt to find a method that works for me + by Jove I think I’ve got it!! I am going to share with you what I do to obtain a close shave and keep ingrown hairs at bay!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
1. A cleanser or Mask that contains salicylic acid.
3. Bikini Zone Anti Bumps Shave Gel
5. Argan Oil or some type of pure oil for the body.
STEPS:
1. The first thing I did was research what kind of things help ingrown hairs + salicylic acid popped up. I thought that this would be something awesome to try because it was something I had in my home already. I had a mask with salicylic acid in it and an exfoliating cleaner, so for a week (without shaving) I cleansed my legs with the cleanser and the day before, I used the mask on my legs (left on for 15 minutes while relaxing and wearing a face mask). I washed the mask off, pat dried my legs + moisturized them.
2. On the day that you decide to shave, when you jump into the shower, wash the rest of your body and then use your exfoliating glove (and your favorite body wash) to gently exfoliate your le gs to help loosen the hairs + to remove any dead skin cells.
3. Next I apply the Bikini Zone gel to my legs + let it set for a moment. This product really works + helps to keep my skin irritation free…in all areas, including under the arms. Once that has set for about a minute or 2, I use a 5 blade razor. Man, a razor like this is magic!! I swear it gets all the hair + I highly recommend them!
4. After you have shaved every area that needs it, gently exfoliate your legs/necessary area again. I have read that people actually shave a second time but that is up to each individual + not part of my actual routine.
5. Once out of the shower, pat dry your skin. You want to care for your skin not damage it! when your skin is still a bit damp, mix the oil of your choice together with the body butter, cream, or moisturizer of your choice and smooth onto your legs. Your skin should feel amazing after this!!
I love wearing silky or satin PJ’s after shaving my legs because they feel so smooth + silky! I always get compliments from the bf on how smooth my skin is and it’s because I take the time to care for it. You have to relax sometimes and this is a wonderful way to unwind + enjoy some time away from the busy world we are all a part of!
