Hello my candied strawberries!!!!

Wow, I can’t believe my last blog post was 10 months ago! How insane is that?? Talk about life taking over!! How have you all been?

Ugh, I’ve been really busy and if you have followed me all these years, you know I rarely slow down and I end up doing a zillion projects and just end up going MIA. Again, I apologize but I have good reasons!!! LOL.

So if you all follow me on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook etc., you know that I have been acting and doing a lot of extra work on the television show Grimm. It’s been so amazing and I am doing all of this while working a regular job and trying to keep up with my fashion and beauty endeavors as well. It’s been hard work!

So many interesting things have happened to me and I just can’t wait to continue to share everything with you all.

So, I have a Tumblr as well and that pretty much also syncs with my Instagram at times and it’s all about my acting and daily life stuffs. Please follow so we can stay in touch! The name of my Tumblr is Love – Kai Wiley. I’ve met so many of you through my blog and mutual passion for beautiful things and I just love getting to know you and sharing experiences.

YSL Mascara? Yes Please!!

Hello all!!
I am back with another cool blog post + this one is a unboxing/mini review thanks to Influenster and YSL!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!

So again, it’s taken me much longer than I wished to find time to blog + I’m sorry about that but life happens + that comes first! Priorities!! Lol. Anyhoo…I had the pleasure of receiving the reformulated YSL Faux Cils Mascara (Which can be found here!!) + I must say, it is bomb!!

If you follow me on Instagram or see my feed here on my blog, you may have seen my “before + after” shot wearing the mascara. It’s amazeballs!!!! Check it out below!!

The Mascara is $32 but I feel it’s completely worth it. Why? Well, it has luxurious packaging, it smells beautiful, the formula is smooth and doesn’t clump after 2-3 coats and makes your lashes look full and luscious… like wearing faux lashes!!

All in all, I give this mascara 5 stars. I’m totally in love with it right now + I receive so many compliments on my lashes when I wear this. Definitely a keeper. It’s a yes from me!

Well Hello my beautiful and lovely people!!

Surprise! I am back lol. AGAIN AGAIN!!!! Listen, I swear to you guys, I think my life is on track + normal + boom, I get hit with some other weird or crazy thing that happens and I end up not having time to do anything or something gets hacked!!!!.

Omg, I’m so happy to be back! I love blogging and I’ve missed sharing with everyone!! How have you guys and gals been? I’ve been pretty much great but as with any life on earth, there have been ups and downs. One major up has been the new car the bf and I got! Omg, *squeeeee* it’s been a while so having transportation again is so so amazing! 🚘

We have been enjoying the freedom of transportation and going out and doing more things. We’ve seriously gotten into Archery and it is now my obesession/hobby. We’ve been consistent and really really loving it and kicking major bootay!!

Also, I met more of my bfs family and we had a wonderful time together. They make me miss my family (mum, dad, brother, and doggie Bear) so so much more. Made my heart a little bit bigger! 💜 💜 💜

Even though things have been a bit crazy and work literally took over my life (didn’t get to really celebrate Valentine’s Day 😐) we still managed time to relax with friends and take in the beauty of our planet.

My April + May Faves 2014

Hello there great people of the world! Hope everyone is feeling awesome!! Today feesl really nice out but instead of going out, I decided to do a blog post about my monthly faves. I do plan to go out later though ^_^.  I really haven’t done a favorites…anything in a while, not on my blog or on youtube, so I felt it was about that time + this time I will try to stick with it as much as possible. Okay, enough of my rambling + lets get to it sugars!!

MAKEUP

From left to right: Shades are Redwood, Guava, + Mauve. Bought these for $1 each at ShopMissA.com. These are really pigmented + look great on light + darker skin tones. Love’em!!

I first heard about this product on YouTube + have been hooked since I found it in a beauty supply store while in Georgia while on a business trip. I also found it in my local beauty supply store + continue to use it. It works so well + could be compared to the Urban Decay Primer Potion. My eye shadow last ALL day + I just love it! It’s about $4. The only thing I wish was different is the packaging. If it was in a squeeze tube, I would be in heaven for sure!

I love this Mascara so much! This is my 2nd tube + I will continue to use it when I want a less expensive yet super effective mascara. This mascara helps your lashes to grow + give you that false lash look. Such a great product! I think this was like $8.99 at my local Walgreens.

SKIN/BODY CARE

I have been on a Rimmel kick lately so of course I wanted to try out their eye makeup remover. I must say, I really like this! I can get a great deal of makeup off with one swipe + that make things so much easier, especially when you just want to hurry + go to bed! This was about $6 at Walgreens.

This product is a repurchase for me + I still love it. I use this along with the Rimmel eye makeup remover to remove everything before washing. This is $7 at Pretty + Cute!

I actually have had this in my cabinet for a bit now + just started using this combo + it’s a good one!! This combo helps so much with keeping my oily/combination skin in check which is great because I find myself having to blot a lot less!! I received this as a gift from Olay but I know for certain this can be found at drugstores!

I love this little set. It has everything you need for proper grooming however, I don’t find the foil head attachment very useful at all. It doesn’t seem to make any difference to me. Maybe I’m just doing it all wrong lol,  This was $19.99 at Walgreens + comes with a brush head which helps aid in keeping ingrown hairs at bay.

FRAGRANCE

I  received this in a birthday package a friend sent me + fell in love with it! This is my “Grown + Sexy” night out fragrance + I plan on buying the full size as soon as I can.  I have no idea why I didn’t try this scent out sooner but better late than never I say! You can find the fragrance at Sephora.

FASHION

I love love love this faux leather jacket from Torrid. I had been looking for one forever + I finally found this and had to have it. I got it from the website for $98.50. This jacket looks so good with so many looks. I may need to do a lookbook styling this baby!!

This watch is so cool. I really like over sized watches + think they are so chic with jeans, a graphic tee + blazers or with a nice billowy blouse. This one is really loose on my wrist so I have to push it up a bit but I don’t mind that at all. I got it from ModDeals + I think you should check out all the cool watches they have for really inexpensive cost!!

I am really loving black + white wardrobe pieces. Anyone who knows me knows I love wearing all black everything but I have recently really have gotten into wearing a lot of white as well. The jeans are from Torrid + they are the skinny fit  for $58.50 + this kick ass Dalek  shirt  (I am an obsessed Doctor Who fan since childhood) is from 6dollarshirts for $8.00 ( larger sizes cost a bit more).

Visit to Pretty&Cute the Store (Portland, Oregon)

Hello my beautiful people! How is everyone on this fine weekend?? Myself, lovely! I got to do some shopping + bought some new products from one of my favorite stores… Pretty + Cute! If you have not been to the store or shopped online, you are really missing out!! This shop specializes in the best of the best Asian skin care products + more. Lets take a quick tour of the shop shall we!

INSIDE THE SHOP

When you enter the store you instantly get swept away into a land of all things…pretty + cute! Hahaha. The store is pink + white, very clean + full of goodies to explore. The Sales Associate was the nicest person + very savvy when I asked questions. This was by far some of the best customer service I’ve received. I felt welcomed in the store + just had an overall great shopping experience.

The wall of Mask may very well be my favorite section! I am a sucker for a great mask + it was actually pretty hard finding mask that I haven’t tried yet lol. I am addicted + this section gave me LIFE!

So many eyeliner selections and mascara +  lippies! Ahhhh, I was in heaven!! I am a bit of a tomboy but the girly side is strong with this one…the force is strong w/ me too…just saying. There are several of these I wish to try soon!

The checkout area was also very cute. Reminds me of how I wish to build my studio once I get back to designing and styling full time. Look at the pen + card holders! Soooo pretty!!!! **Insert girly squeal here**

WHAT I BOUGHT

So of course I didn’t just enter the store just to look + leave…NO WAY! I also did a wee bit of shopping to try out some new products + to rebuy as well.

The bags are also really pretty here. I save these +  store my wallets + little things like this in the bags. I just put them in my closet so I can display them. It really is the little things that put a smile on your face.

Everything purchased is new except the makeup remover wipes. I bought those before + had to have them again. I will do a blog post to show you how I remove my eye makeup, it’s a two step process.

Little Black Bag Goodies

Hey all!

I have been away again…SO SORRY! OMG, work has me all kinds of cray cray right now. Most of the time after work I am so tired I don’t even want to look at another computer screen lol. WTF, I mean, I loooove blogging but I need a break sometimes from the cyber world….okay enough of that break.  🙂

So, I’ve been bored with my current handbags and thought hey…I want to go shopping and I want a new bag dagnabit!! I looked around online for a bit and remembered that I had a  Little Black Bag account and decided to see what they had to offer. Oh boy…this could be trouble…

LBB (Little Black Bag) was having an awesome deal where if you were a VIP member, you could buy a handbag and get 2…yes 2 free. That un-boxing will be coming soon but, the first bag I received was a solo order the day before the sale. This bag (bag in photos) is so spacious and shiny lol, It’s faux leather and has two zippers on the side for decoration. The bottom front has studs and rhinestones and the interior has a zippered pocket and solid black interior. Super super cute and a little over the top!

The handbag is by LaTique and retails for $108.00 and through LBB it was$58.99 with shipping but I also received additional free gifts with my purchase so that just made the deal soooo much sweeter!

I cannot wait until next month to make another purchase. I did spoil myself this month and made two purchases from the site but hey, I work hard for my money and I feel I deserve to treat myself whenever I feel like it as long as I have my priorities in order…right? I feel that should be the case for EVERYONE!!

Sorry, we don’t do Valentine’s Day!

Hey baby cakes!! Before I get started, I want to first say that yesterday was my 30th Birthday!! Woot Woot…AARP here I come! Lol. It was a very chill day + my bf says that he has a surprise of some sort for me to celebrate my bday so we will see what happens! Also, Bday haul video coming soon!!

Moving right along….

February, the month of Black History + Love…Ermmm, why is this limited to a month? Shouldn’t Black History + Love be celebrated, studied, showed all year around or is that just me? *side eye*

Anyhoo, there are so many post I see on Facebook + comments I hear from people saying…”I better get this, or we better do that for Valentine’s day”. I’m sorry, but it’s just not that important to me! Is Valentine’s day going to feed, clothe, support + provide jobs for the needy? If not, then I’m not worried about it.

My bf + I have been together slightly over a year now + decided we will not celebrate Vday in the traditional way because we love each other + give each other things all year around. We also decided that we will have a tradition (started last year lol) where we get a bottle of wine, a huge platter of 7 layer dip, a bag of tortilla chips + watch an awesome  movie! That’s bliss. No gifts, candy or anything Vday only based…A usual day!

The money that I would have spent, I can donate to an organization I support. I like this idea soooo much more! What do you guys think??
